As for glass tiles, they are legion. Glass enables a color palette unachievable in other materials. They range from the soft, frosted shades to the clear, bright and intense. They can be combined to create custom blends. They shimmer, shine and glow, used alone or as an accent, when incorporated with stone or tile and ranging in size from 3/8” to 24” .

Mosaics can be made of polished or tumbled stones, glass or even seashell, which are created from discarded shells, cut by hand and applied to a ceramic base. The shell tiles are polished not coated, to reveal a jewel-like finish. They can be used on floors and walls and can obviously tolerate water.
